"Hers-Day" Review and Giveaway!

My little peanut has be screaming since the minute she woke up.  Poor baby is teething and miserable!  I totally get it, but Mommy needs a break.

Today I need to take a few minutes for myself, cuz it's gonna be a LOONG day.  So as the "princess" sleeps, I am going to take a scream-free shower.

This is what I use to spoil myself a little.


I love this stuff!  It has a mild and fresh scent and leaves my skin silky smooth.  It lathers up nicely and is easy to shave with.  I have used this since high school.  Sometimes the smell helps me forget for a few minutes that I am a 30-something with kids (that is until someone knocks at the door to tell on his brother!).

I also used to use this body wash in high school and remember really loving it - especially the scent! I remember always thinking it was a little pricey though. Especially as I moved out on my own and had to support myself. But, since then I forgot about it and would love to give it a try again. :)

Cool Water, the cologne? It reminds me of junior high. Lol. All the boys wore it then when we had boy/girl dance parties. I can't think of any more right now but I know there are some and it happens every now and then. I will smell something and remember some random thing and it makes me smile.

I love a body wash that smells Great! I just love taking a shower with a product that makes me feel pampered, that makes me feel and smell wonderful for hours.. I've never tried this, but I bet it's smells Wonderful!

LOL - I arrange to take a nice, long shower once a week (yeah, I shower more often, but they're the quick ones!) My husband keeps an eye on my toddler and he and my oldest both know not to bother me unless someone is bleeding or dying!

Back to school

Do you remember how you felt the first day of school?    I was always excited, but really nervous.  Who is my teacher?  Is she nice?  Do I have friends in class with me? This morning I watched my older children start school.  Again I had the same feelings.  Who are their teachers? Will they be nice?  Will they take the time to understand my children.  Will my boys make new friends? I anxiously awaited their return today.  I could not wait to hear about their day.  Can you guess what response I got? "It was good." That's it!  After all that worrying and anxious energy I exerted, all I got what that school was "good" and "can I have a snack?" Gotta love kids!  Hopefully they will not grow up to be a worry wart like their mom.
