1. Sleep- the amount you can survive without and how much you miss it.
2. Walks- once a relaxing past time, now is focused on getting everyone around the block without getting hit by a car or any other injuries.
3. Carnivals- I used to LOVE going to our town's festival during the summer. But I swear I will NEVER let my kid go on that Zipper ride. Too much upside down and WAY too creaky (did I mention that it was my Favorite growing up?)
4. Airplane rides- they just get me nervous. Next time we fly I am taking a Valium.
What has changed for you since having the kids?
Sorry this is not my typical Tipsy Tuesday post. If you must know, I was drinking Jack Daniels and Coke Zero this weekend. It seemed like a good "hurricane" cocktail.

Meal time! Trying to eat while feeding the baby or trying to keep him happy in his highchair. Or even going out for a meal...nearly impossible.
Pretty much agree with all of it I was also going to say dinner since usually it's a mess or someone is complaining about the food. And driving in the car is usually filled with lots of noise or crying instead of music
I don't have children, but have volunteered to babysit for new mommies and mommies that just need some sleep. I cannot imagine losing that much sleep for months at a time. Good mommies are awesome!
I'm with you on the carnivals one. I take my son every year, and he always wants to go on the deadliest looking rides. No way! Oh, and airplane rides, it's not the ride itself that makes me nervous, it's getting my kid through the dreaded TSA line.
I'm a new follower, I found you through vB.
I couldn't agree more. These are things no one tells you before you have kids either!
So true! I'm now following! {WWBH} XOXO
As a new Mom I've changed quite a bit! I have mastered a 2 minute shower and have learned how to down a meal in 5 minutes!

Your list is great...had to laugh because it is so true!
Being the mom of 11 kids some of the things that have changed is:
1. noise
2. My husband and I look at each other quite often and remark that 'we don't live alone anymore'
3. leftover dessert magically disappears during the night
Thanks for your funny post!
Oh...let's see, I don't even recognize myself anymore since having kids. Showers - I used to shower twice a day, every day. Now I shower every few days whether I need to or not. LOL! I also eat like a pig (fast..that is) because I got so used to having to rush through my meal before my baby needed to be breastfed again or otherwise demanded mommy. For some reason, that speedy dining has carried into the school age years.
Great list! :)
Blessings,
Rosann

Cute blog! Found you on the Wacky Wed. blog hop. All the comments here would be what I would say too. My kids are teenagers now -- lots of things change when your kids get into their teens! BUT...at least I can shower, go to the bathroom, have some quite ALL BY MYSELF :-)

Very true, things will never be the same once you are a parent! But every single moment is so precious and a blessing :)
Thank you for stopping by my blog and your sweet comment, I am so happy Irene was good on your side as well and that you didn't lose power :)
Came by to return the love and follow back :)
How about not any glasses or dishes that match, and many a laundry load started with just one pair of underwear before you catch it!
