A heartfelt thank you to all my old and new followers over the past 2 weeks.  I have returned to work and the kids have returned to school.  The schedule is killing me!  I spend most days running from school to work to school to activities to home! ( I have driven through the fast food window more times than I would like to admit. )  I am tired, my friends, and am sure some of you are too! So, I reaching out for your guidance.  How do you Mommas make it work?  Please share any advice or tips you may have.  I know I am not the only mom trying to make it work.    How do you do it all? My goal for this week is planning dinners.  I am going to make some children cutlets this weekend and maybe a chicken soup. This will alleviate the guilt I am having from from feeding my children too many chicken nuggets. Let's help each other out!  I am looking forward to hearing from you!

It has been a week since I have blogged.  I am so sorry.  This has been the Official First week back to school (and work for me).  Man, it was tough!  I spent most of my days running to kiddie appointments. I actually go to work to take a BREAK.  That is just plain CRAZY! It was my first week of work in a school program for hearing and vision impaired children.  I was early to work on September 11th (obviously pre-kids).  A friend came in around 9:00 and told us a plane hit one of World Trade Center Towers.  My colleagues and I were concerned, but thought it must have been an accident, probably a two seater plane, and continued with work. Fifteen minutes later, another colleague shared that a second plane hit the other Tower.  I was thoroughly confused.  Reports starting surfacing that these were intended attacks.  One of my friends put a radio on and we learned about the 3rd plane going down. The United States was under attack?! Immediately I called my fiance (at the time).  He was running a restaurant in the city.  He was uptown and immediately booked a hotel room (he knew he wasn't getting out of the city that night).  I immediately took a count of all my family and ...

The San Genaro Feast is this weekend!  Hope the weather clears up!

Do you remember how you felt the first day of school?    I was always excited, but really nervous.  Who is my teacher?  Is she nice?  Do I have friends in class with me? This morning I watched my older children start school.  Again I had the same feelings.  Who are their teachers? Will they be nice?  Will they take the time to understand my children.  Will my boys make new friends? I anxiously awaited their return today.  I could not wait to hear about their day.  Can you guess what response I got? "It was good." That's it!  After all that worrying and anxious energy I exerted, all I got what that school was "good" and "can I have a snack?" Gotta love kids!  Hopefully they will not grow up to be a worry wart like their mom.

Here's What I wore for back to school! Not my best shot (I have the little one on my hip and son #2 taking the pic), but you get the idea. And I also wore a white tank top, too! :)

Here are most of my pieces: I am missing a few pieces.  I need to take a picture of a white tank top (a staple of mine), a grey cardigan, and a black sweater,  I also think I want to buy a skirt. ...
