The Grinch is IN!


What is is with the holidays that brings the WORST out in people? Don't get me wrong I DO enjoy Christmas and all of its cheer. But no one ever told me how stressful it becomes when you are no longer a kid.

I know, I am complaining again. It's just that my mother made this whole "mommy- thing" look so easy. Her holidays were always seamless... or at least that's what I thought.

The good thing is that the kids' gifts are done (and yes I have gotten the Bakugan sets for both of them... hopefully they will appreciate the early morning shopping "Santa" had to do to get them!). I have to get cards for the family and a gift for DH (he says he needs socks, undershirts, and underwear... when did he become his Dad?)

I hope all of you are doing well with your shopping.... Please feel free to share your holiday complaining with me, so I know I am not the only Grinch here!

My Mum was "Super Mom". My daughter is only seven months old, but I already feel like I'm failing and I'll never be as good as she was. There's at least five loads of dirty laundry in the laundry room right now. At my Mum's house? Never even a dirty sock. I totally feel you.

Review and Giveaway- Sally Hansen Salon Effects

Let's just get this clear.  I have NO talent when it comes to anything cosmetic.  I can't apply eyeshadow, I look stupid in lipstick, and cannot paint my nails without smudging.  So you can believe how excited I was when I found Sally Hansen Salon Effects in my local drugstore. The Salon Effects are essentially stickers, although SH calls then "polish strips". They vary in color, and designs.  Some are basic and others are WILD.  I have tried Wild Child (a zebra-like print) and It Girl (solid pinkish color).
